Job Title: Floral/Event Manager Florist

Company: NovaPetal Flower Lab
Location: Phoenix, AZ
    •    Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (required)
    •    Strong multitasking and project management skills
    •    Interest in and desire to work in the event/wedding industry
    •    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    •    Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
    •    Flower design experience (preferred but not required)
    •    Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
    •    Knowledge of social media marketing
    •    Proficiency in both English and Spanish
Customer Interaction:
    •    Communicate with customers by taking orders over the phone, replying to emails, and handling in-person sales at the shop
    •    Understand customer visions and preferences, offering expert advice and suggestions
Administrative Tasks:
    •    Prepare and send out price quotes and invoices as needed
    •    Check inventory and add products to our POS system
    •    Create routes for delivery drivers and communicate with them
Floral Design & Maintenance:
    •    Assist florists in creating unique arrangements
    •    Clean and prep flowers, maintain the cooler, check inventory, and help with trash removal
    •    Support team with event setup and breakdown as needed
    •    Learn about flowers and plants to provide excellent customer service
    •    Drive to suppliers or deliver flowers when necessary
Marketing and Community Engagement:
    •    Capture content for marketing purposes
    •    Assist with social media posting and engage with our online community
    •    Support projects and tasks related to NovaPetal’s growth, including future venue research, brand awareness promotion, and community outreach partnerships
    •    Provide feedback and ideas for special projects and campaigns
Team Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
    •    Collaborate with NovaPetal Flower Lab Management to enhance client relationships, products, and services

Preferred Experience:
    •    Prior experience in a flower shop or event planning business design (a plus but not required)
    •    Exceptional creativity and attention to detail
    •    Prior experience in customer service, retail, or administrative roles
    •    Wedding floral design experience/expertise
    •    Minimum 32 hours per week, with full-time possibility
    •    Additional hours during peak seasons, events, and major floral holidays
    •    The schedule may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons
 •    Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
 •    Expected hours: 30-40 per week
